Based on what has been said by the greatest psychologists of our time, this book tells the reader what is the concept of romantic love and how to be in a relationship without getting hurt. It is about how to further strengthen a healthy relationship and how to get out of a toxic relationship. The choice that life offers is whether one wants ten superficial, meaningless relationships, or one great relationship that lasts a lifetime. Here are some of the quotes from the book.

“A day spent in understanding your partner will pay you much bigger dividends than a year spent around the world trying to find yourself.”

“You can give ten years of your life to an adorable fool, but you should not waste a minute on a mean scoundrel.”

Review :

Extraordinary. Read this. It does not matter of you are single, in a serious relationship, dating, casually or entirely disinterested in any sort of romantic entanglement. This is one of the most insightful books I have ever read. To learn to love and appreciate the ordinary and base our human love on the strong and solid foundation of friendship and commitment. Sincerely, I believe my relationship will be much improved because of the things I learned from Dr. Govind Sharma's analysis. Additionally I think it is a great resource for guidance along one's path to transcendence. The language of the book is simple and easy to understand and cover and title of the book is apt to the content of the book. A must read book. If I could give this book more than five star I definitely would.

Pinto is a middle level officer in the Internal Security Agency, or ISA who discovers, through a series of episodic experiences that the template for catching spies is not the gun toting flamboyance of James Bond. Nor, for that matter, is it the dull grey world of Smiley’s People. Much of it is patient pursuit and back end planning lit by the occasional flash of brilliance. Yet, even if there are no adrenaline spikes and meetings in the shadows of the gloaming; Pinto enjoys his job with the all the mental challenges and the perseverance it requires. Like in any other government department, Pinto too has to deal with failing room coolers, an aging car and the quirks of officialdom; but there is a professional core in the organization that, with good humour, sensitivity and patience, is able to carry the day. The book also has side stories that, though occasionally anecdotal, paint Pinto’s life in vibrant colours.
Review :
A profound book, that surpassed all my expectations. A hell of a ride from the first page till the last word. The story revolve around the working life of ISA (internal security agency ) officer Pinto. Each pages make you think and in places, re read just to make sure, you know what's happening but it is written very well and that's what counts. On the surface the story is pretty basic and easy to follow but deep within this novel, there is so much more going on. The way the story is presented what is revealed what is held back and the sequence of revelation is superb. The author uses his experience and does not let the illusion ever crumble. A must read book. Highly recommend.
