Even as Ajmal Kasab was saying that ten men who carried out 26/11 attacks in Mumbai were Pakistani terrorists, some politicians of the ruling establishment were calling it a ‘RSS Conspiracy’. It was clear to Vikrant that government would do nothing to take revenge for the death of his wife and daughter who died along with more than 150 others in those dastardly attacks. Forget about taking revenge, he won’t even get justice.

But Vikrant Maheshwari was not the government. He wasn’t tied down by diplomatic niceties. Can he himself extract his revenge from Pakistan? Who will help him? How will he evade the cops who’ve come to know of his plans?
Review :
This book is very poignant and a definite tearjerker. The 26/11 attack on Mumbai are not easy subject to write but author Manish Jaitly does so with grace, entwining the life of families. The book is raw and emotional, book drew me in and it was hard to put down. Vikrant Maheshwari character was well written. The language of the book is simple and easy to understand. The title is apt to the story. Cover of the book compel you to pick it up. Book is well written and a great read. Keeping you turning the pages wanting to see what happen next.
I recommend it for sure.

This collection of contemporary satirical essays in Hindi is a way of author to look at the current socio-political scenario and an attempt to recreate the magic of Hindi satire once visible in the world of Sharad Joshi, Shrilal Shukl and Harishankar Parsai. The author takes a dig at the inconsistencies of the modern world, modern value systems and modern politics, waltzing around with fictional heroes from the past. You have characters from Rag Darbari wandering about, Emperor Ashok landing in Karnataka post elections and even legendry writer Sharad Joshi himself coming out of retirement to get his satire published. The attempt of author is to create an outrageously funny world without ever losing the grace, dignity and beauty of language, cautiously and carefully avoiding the smattering of Hinglish and cuss-words modern Indian satire and homour space is infamous for.
Review :
EPIC ! Hilarious ! Should be on every bookshelf.
Saket's satires masterfully blend sublime wit and subtle insight with brilliant writing and structural styles. Made me laugh out loud many times. A quick and funny read. A really enjoyable read. The title and the cover of the book compell you to pick it up. Definitely a good book. A must read book. Highly recommend !

Review :
I really enjoyed this story and was very surprised at how well the author has written the reaction of Pedro. I love how author brings the side characters ( esp. Maria ) into the story and make you want to find out more about them instead of them just being filler. The story is engrossing and I couldnot stop reading. Story had it's flaws but was an enjoyable tale with an engaging lead and some supporting characters. The book is easy to follow and very fast paced. The language of the book is simple and cover of the book is apt to the story. Definitely a good read. Highly recommend.
